Boucherville – Graymont's Bedford Plant in Quebec, donated $4,000 to their local Fire Department that serves the townships of Bedford, Stanbridge Station, and Notre-Dame de Stanbridge, to help replace old “Jaws of Life” equipment.
Plattsburgh – Scott Bombard, Sales Manager at Graymont Materials, in Plattsburgh, NY along with fellow employees and a few family members prepared a dinner for those in need at a local church. Trinity Church along with volunteers regularly serve a dinner each Wednesday, to approximately 70 people who require some help in the community.
Plattsburgh – This November Graymont Materials (NY) received a prestigious Hot Mix Asphalt Showcase Award given by the New York Construction Materials Association (NYCMA). These awards are given annually by NYCMA and are highly competitive. Graymont received their award for providing asphalt, subbase and ready mix concrete to the reconstruction of Rt 9N in the hamlet of AuSable Forks (a small village commonly called the Gateway to the 1980 Olympics in Lake Placid). Luck Brothers,Inc., a Graymont customer also received an award as did the NYS Department of Transportation.

Plattsburgh - As rain dripped off the eves of the Graymont tent set up at Airborne Speedway and volunteers grabbed rain jackets, many of the organizers had very nervous looks on their faces. Fortunately for Graymont and its partners in this huge community event, Nortrax, Airborne and the sponsoring service group, the Plattsburgh AM Kiwanis Club, the rain stopped and although the sun didn’t come out until late in the day, the rain held off and a successful event happened.
Salt Lake City - Graymont's Genoa, Ohio plant recently welcomed Nick Ritter, a student from St. John's Jesuit High School to their facility. The High School has a program which requires students in their graduating year to spend three weeks in the workforce to obtain hands-on learning experience in their area of future employment interest. Nick, who is interested in becoming a Chemical Engineer, chose the Genoa plant for one week of his project.
